While I still hate these throwbacks, I’d like to see Matt Kemp keep wearing some stirrup socks (except with pants that fit). He can keep wearing his uniform however the eff he wants though if he keeps hitting like this. Another walk off homer, so great. It’s really too bad that Kershaw couldn’t complete the game, and perhaps Mattingly should have pulled him earlier, but what a great way to end the game. Good job by Broxton, shut the haters up for another game.
As some of you know, Kate and I have recently moved to Brooklyn. Which means all the contributors to this blog are on the East Coast. I’ll get back to posting more, but we’ve been pretty busy with the move and getting settled. Plus West Coast games end super late out here. So I can use your submissions. A few guidelines, most shots of the field from the stands, or shots of yourselves at games aren’t going to get approved. News, photos, art, etc will most likely get approved as long as I feel it’s unique / cool enough and I haven’t seen it on a million Dodger blogs already. Game re-caps, opinions, whatever. Just click the submit button on the main page and there’s a good chance I’ll post it. (Include a link to your tumblr for credit and make sure to credit any photographers/news sources you have cited). There’s a good chance I’ll make you an admin if you submit enough stuff I think is blog worthy. There’s also a good chance I’ll hate everything and just keep doing it all mostly myself. Camanda always comes through with quality posts though, so hopefully there’s another like her out there that can contribute.
