Well..
We lost our first Spring Training game to the Cubs, but it was nice to hear Charley Steiner’s voice on the radio along with Dodger Talk host Ken Levine (btw Ken has a great blog where he talks about everything show business, his days writing for Cheers, and sometimes even the Dodgers.) I think my favorite quote from the play by play was something like “You know you’re watching February baseball when you’re having a discussion about a tv show in the 7th inning and the score is only 5-3.” Tony Abreu had a two run single in the 2nd, and my boy Blake DeWitt had an RBI single in the fourth, but Troncoso loaded the bases and gave up a grand slam for the 5-3 lead we never came back from.
Once again, can’t wait ‘till april.
