There’s been a lot of anger about not being able to get Yankees/Dodgers tickets unless you buy a ticket plan. Personally I don’t care, I have a season ticket. But If I didn’t I still wouldn’t care, teams have used the “buy a plan to guarantee tickets for Opening Day” method forever and this is no different. Who cares? Fuck the Yankees. I’m 100 times more excited for Bobble head nights! Andre Ethier .. Finally! This should have been the fourth bobble last year instead of 2 ManRam heads.

My favorite comment from outraged fans.“I remember just a couple years back the Dodgers still had $6 Top Deck seats. All of a sudden, the price has doubled to $12. I wonder if this organization even realizes they’ve made it impossible for a huge segment of their fans to even attend games, including myself.”

You can afford 6 dollars but not 12?! Shit i guess you’re really chipping into the kids college fund there eh? Where else can you see a sporting event for 12 dollars? That’s a movie and popcorn.. That is less than the Grizzlies/Isotopes MINOR LEAGUE game I went to.
I may have come off as a fanboy arguing with them, but I am a fanboy. I don’t like the McCourts either, but their ticket prices and ticket selling schemes aren’t any different than any other team. We still have the cheapest season ticket in baseball!
