Awesome. Last night I got to the game about 3 hours early. Got robbed of a few fly balls during BP by this big dude who just overpowered me. Kinda annoying, he got about 5 balls. Jim Campanis was signing in autograph alley so I got a signature. Then went to my seats to wait for the start of the game. I thought I was going to be crushed emotionally by the end of the night after Wolfie’s rough start, but when Kemp smashing that 2 run homer on the first pitch in the bottom of the first it really put me at ease. Sat next to some Cardinals fans and apologized for the heckling and abuse the asshole Dodger fans were giving to them while they were being respectful fans of the visiting team. My favorite was a drunk Dodger fan trying to insult one of them by saying “We got 6 World Series titles… how many do you got?! HA!” to which the Cardinals fan calmly responded “We have 10.” The brilliant Dodger fan, obviously well versed in baseball history, responded with “…” Can’t wait for tonight!
