Like many guys my age (holy shit i’m 30) Nolan Ryan was my favorite player when I was a kid. Now that I know that the Rangers play the music cue from “The Natural” after home runs and then hearing the chant of “You Used Ster-oids!” at A-Rod to the chant of “Lets Go ___ ___!” I actually have a reason to root for them other than the fact that they are the only team who isn’t the Yankees, Phillies, or Giants.
