So far this year…
I’ve seen, in person :
• Orlando Hudson hit for the cycle
• Clayton Kershaw striking out 13, and still getting a no decision.
• Matt Kemp hit a grand slam. (I would have seen this twice, but the first time he did it I was in the bathroom)
• People cheering like a home run was just hit when a guy in left field just made a routine catch on a fly ball straight to him.
• 11 games of a 13 game winning streak at home. (Sometimes you just gotta sit out a game)
• Casey Blake hitting into a triple play. (Which almost could have been an unassisted triple play)
So, I’ve seen a few baseball rarities this year already. Maybe next Juan Pierre can steal home and Billingsley can pitch a no hitter. I hope both happen against the Phillies.
